The hotel is situated at the northern edge of the inner Ring Road opposite Watts Park and the Civic Centre. It is in easy walking distance of the Central train station and is only five miles from Southampton/Eastleigh Airport.

The hotel has no car park of its own and the area at the front of the hotel is for 'set-down' and 'pick-up' only. Grosvenor Square multi-storey car park is behind the hotel and is operated by the City Council and the hotel will reimburse one ticket per room per 24 hours upon production of a valid receipt.
